Reactive Dog Training
Calm Support for Big Feelings
Service Description
Does your dog bark, lunge, growl or overreact to other dogs, people, cars or noises? You’re not alone — and your dog isn’t “bad”. Reactivity is often a sign of worry, frustration or overwhelm. Many loving, intelligent dogs struggle when their world feels unpredictable or unsafe. What looks like stubbornness or aggression is usually emotion underneath. At Charlie’s Dog Training – Wags and Wiggles, I specialise in helping reactive dogs feel calmer and more confident — and helping owners feel back in control. Using kind, reward-based methods grounded in learning theory and behaviour science, we: Reduce barking and lunging Build calm responses around triggers Improve focus and connection Increase confidence in new or challenging environments Teach you exactly what to do in real-life situations Sessions take place in your own home and suitable outdoor locations, so training happens where it matters most. There’s no judgement here. Just practical steps, clear guidance and steady progress at your dog’s pace. Because reactive dogs aren’t difficult — they’re communicating. And when we change how they feel, we change how they behave. Happy Dogs, Happy Owners.
